I checked Wikipedia and it said the following:

"On the morning of January 19, 2007, Bigelow was found dead in his home by Todd Bigelow at around 10 A.M. in Pasco County, Florida. Preliminary autopsy results did not show signs of foul play. [10]

A service is planned for Friday January 26,2007 in his hometown of Neptune, New Jersey"

The saga of Bam Bam Bigelo is a rather fascinating one and his death quite a mystery although not lacking gossip, rumors, and speculation. Bam Bam, as you might know was a carouser and because he spent so much time in saloons and dance halls his health deteriorated from excessive alcohol intake and lack of nutrition. Bam Bam lived for the moment and just enjoyed the night life and booze laced with high levels of alcohol. One night while partying with friends at a disco in Paris, Bam Bam became ill and fainted on the dance floor while clutching both his dance partner and a martini. Bam Bam was revived on the dance floor by paramedics and rushed to the Le Paris Palace Hospitale where he underwent emergency exploratory surgery but was pronounced dead early the next morning. The official cause of death was alcohol poisoning but rumors persist that he he was strangled by another patient, a mad man who was injured earlier in the evening during a bar room brawl. The autopsy report, though never made public, indicated large gashes and trauma in his throat and neck area. Others dispute this version of the cause of death and attribute the gashes as inflicted upon him by his rather aggressive dancing partner the night before during moments of passion. Regardless of what version is the correct one, Bam Bam Bigelo will always be remembered for his love of life and adventures resulting from his ventures into the night life.

Bam Bam never had the physique of somone on steroids and I doubt that was an issue with his death. Also he was found in his home by his girlfriend. One of my friends that knew him said he hadn't been the same since he and his wife divorced.

The autopsy was done and they are starting to rule out foul play, they are now going to run a toxication test to see if there are any things that pop up from that.

supposedly it was a heart attack, i ran into bigalow about 8 months to a year ago, he was at a club some people might know that used to be called club logo, it is located in Lake Wallenpaupak, Pa., I live in Ledgedale, Pa., the story is quite funny i must say, i was flirting with a blonde girl at the bar who was one of bam bam's friends, he tapped me on the shoulder and said is this guy bothering you to her... i looked at him and said holy ****! she said he's just kidding, we shook hands i bought him a beer and said please don't kick my ***, he said he was joking, but very nice guy, very intimidating, but cool as anything.

I didn't hear he had died either. If I had to guess, I'd go with a weight related situation, like heart attack or diabetes.

Watch wrestling shows a lot (especially WWE), they always have something on it. WWE especially, they like to have specials on every wrestler whether they wrestled for WWE or not.
