I purchased a Belkin router, and after much research I found out that I should enable security setting on it. I enabled WPAPSK on my Belkin router, but do I have to enable this on my laptop also? My laptop is the only device using the wireless router. If I do have to enable WPA on my laptop, how do I accomplish this? I've tried several different ways, but after I refresh my wireless connection, it goes back to an open status, instead of a secured WPA status.

I figured it out. My router homepage did not enable the WPA security. I had to log back in and put my key in again and let it reset the router. Then I was fine. Thanks!
