Hi friends.....i am so embarassed with the unwanted advertisements and websites which are opened with each click.I am frustrated with these and sometimes my cmputer hangs up due to these unwanted ads....like some bank ads or some porn ads.I have followed every setting but i don't know how to prevent my comp from these sites..kindly help...
i am using bsnl broadband and i am in india.

Internet Options
check the Security, Privacy and Content tabs.
I have my Privacy set to medium which allows some cookies.
In the Content tab, click enable. Move the slider to 0 for nudity, violence, etc.
In Yahoo Mail, use the Yahoo toolbar which comes with a pop-up blocker. Use it.

you may receive popups from the sites you are browsing, in this case you need a pop-up blocker. but if adds appear, when your browser in not opened or even when you're offline, there's probably and adware/spyware installed on your computer. in this case, you need to run an antispyware scan to erase this threat. in case you don't have any antispyware, i can recommend you spybot search and destroy, here's download:

properly, on the television in case you don't like one advert on the channel you've a great deal extra to chosen from, and 1/2 the time those on television are hilarious!! we don't like those on the computer because properly they take in area on the television they ought to position in the classified ads to get contained in the time.

well get a free antivirus from avast.com and one free antispyware from lavasoftusa.com update and scan i think u have spyware. and also get the free yahoo tollbar
