You are so lovely ! believe it or not i was saying the same exact statement to my roommate last night lolll....
majority of people here has a "bland mask" ... watch what they play on channel 10 or 7, damn i would vomit, soul-less, and the fanaticism over Australian Idol show, YUUUUUUCCCK!! (though i must give utmost credit to ABC and SBS network, one of the best channels i've seen living around the globe.)
and as a reply to spoonman's opinion about SoCal : i'm so dumbfounded at the absurdity of your answer, i don't know what to say lol . and yes i 've lived there before.

i agree, where certainly no where near as superficial as other countries, where else could you walk down the street in thongs, footy shorts and a wife beater and not look like ur from outer space. we're certainly not superficial in that way

I think that most societies are extremely superficial.

no they are the way we the united states was in the late 70's and 80's...they still have respect, and they don't have a murder rate with numbers as large as a small citys population,every year
