Greyhound is really good at helping. I had to ship a few packages to another state, and one was severely damaged, and they made good on the value. I'm sure that as long as you don't claim that you had 40lbs of gold in your bag, they will make it right. Or at least come close to it.

Yes, I sometimes use Greyhound to ship items.

I lost my luggage and it contains over $10000 worth of filming equipment, and when I complain abou it, they say the cops have it cause the cops needed new equipments, I told em it's my stuff, they say I have to go to the cops and buy it from police auction.

I was ripped off by the greyhound

the first thing i would ask is do you have your lost stuff insured..... if not then you might not be able to recover the cost of your property. so i would try to see what the bus company has in its policy on matters of this sort.... good luck
