to be honest i have been spurning love or any relationship for that matter. sometimes i get the feeling that the lonesome road is far too enticing to spend the time fighting to be with anyone. perhaps im a mysanthrope? whatever my affliction, im sure it will lie on the outskirts of me, right along with me. the edges simply are no longer parallel.

I think fighting for it is the natural response, but it sure does put a strain on things to always have to do so. All that energy that could be spent on each other instead of defending your right or reasoning for wanting to be together. I remember from my experience with this, the black cloud that seemed to surround us especially when we were in the presence of family.

I had to.
At this day, my parents don't accept him, but at least they have a respectful relationship.
I'm a rebel and I can't help it.
