Both. Ones with multiple victims have very little chance of being reformed and we are better off with them dead.

The U.S. Supreme Court has already said that it is unconstitutional to impose the death penalty on someone for rape. If you want to try and test whether they'd hold to that precedent or overrule it, give it a try. But I'm kind of inclined to agree with the Court. The death penalty is such a severe punishment that it should be limited to the most heinous of crimes.

my redneck attitude is one aggravated rape. It may not deter others but this person will not do it again I feel the same about child molestation and first degree murder. It is also necessary that the sentence be promptly carried out (take a hint from Iraq)

nope. the punishment doesn't fit the crime.

no cruel and unusual punishment allowed.
