Lord of the Rings is one of the best movies ever!! I'm up for watching all different sorts of movies but Star Wars has always looked boring to me..

Lord of the Rings were epic classics. My choice.
I would have picked Star Wars if the ewoks theme was not in Return of the Jedi. It almost turned it into a Disney movie

Star Wars was great in its day, and I am old enough to appreciate its awesome spectacle, but Lord of the Rings is the best by far. It is pure genus.
