I know this belongs on the Biology section, but this area seems more active...
Anyway, I took regular biology two years ago, and I did great. I got all 100 marks. But now, I'm taking Advanced Biology, and I am doing terrible. I can't get my head around all the little tiny details and functions, & connecting each thing toghether. I'm good at math though. How can I become smarter with biology?

try using mnemonic devices to help you remember all the functions and connections..

Honey, if you were getting 100 marks there is no way you should be having trouble now. Perhaps you have been a little complacent and missed out on some of the basics. Go back to the start of the advanced course and slowly get back to your present level. You may have to sacrifice some of your free time for this but it is worth it. Best of luck.

U will need to do the following
1.Concentrate more
2.Try to understand things as it gets heavier
in lower standards u must have had good memory power
and more over a better
syllabus very less so u could mug them up
don't do them any more try to understand things and study
read a concept
or a paragraph
or else a question
and take time to analyse what is the real fact in it
it might sound funny
but i ve had practical experience

I had the same problem when I took Advance Psychology that got into gather statistics. I was pulling me hair out. Just study, study, study that's all you can do. We did get a study group together and that did seem to help too.

just remember one thing what ever u r doing do ur best. revise daily lectures at home and start revising from first chapter not much as much as u can remember i hope this will help if you go for it.. best of luck.
