There's a huge number of tropical locations that begin with "L" if you define "tropical location" as any place lying between the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer.

Countries
Laos, Liberia, parts of Libya

Cities:
Libreville, Gabon
Lomé, Togo
Luanda, Angola
Lusaka, Zambia
Lilongwe, Malawi
Lima, Peru
La Paz, Bolivia

Believe me when I say this is just an abreviated list

Yes, there's the tropical island of "Langro Dos" located just to the southeast of Australia and very popular with tourists flocking there from all over the Far East. It provides an atmosphere conducive to relaxation and fun and the island is large enough to accommodate everyone without having that crowded and "touristy" feeling you find in Hawaii and other places. Langro Dos is well noted for its fine hotel facilities, restaurants, sight seeing attractions, and above all things, bird watching of the exotic and rare kind. You should allow yourself plenty of time to really enjoy everything the island has to offer and be sure to take plenty of pictures of all the breath taking sights. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it there and let everyone know how it turned out. Oh, and don't forget to make your reservations and accommodations well ahead of time so you won't be left disappointed.
