Yes we heard about Y2K and all this other crap about the end of the world.
But for some reason, the Mayan Calendar is the only one that has that eerie feeling to it.

Honest truth. Will you start to get a little scared when December 21, 2012 comes near? Honest.

No, I won't scared. I understand what's going on.
It's a huge ENERGETIC change, not a physical change, and it already started.

No. Why worry about things you can nothing about ?

What if it's as simple as the guy who was recording the calendar finished the "Long Count" (a convenient stopping point), took a break and died before he could come back and start the new cycle ?

After all, he had just finished recording 25,000 years of future time. I bet he was burned out and decided "the hell with this", I'm gonna go watch the ritual sacrifices and get something to eat.

He probably choked on a cocoa sandwich...

To be man is to make mistakes. the Mayan calender from my observations is simply a perpetual calender. On Dec 21st starts the cycle again. this calender can be interpreted many ways. but most people of course believe the opinions made by some scholar who spent his days behind 4 walls of academia. the stigma behind it is because it was made by a race that vanished mysteriously and that round stone was one of many artifacts that are found in that region. No nothing..Except maybe an X-class flare up of the sun shot right at Earth. My favorite archeology site is the great wall of Peru..Investigate it,way cool.

That is something to think about. But what if the Mayan did not have time or energy to create a calender past that date. Would you freak out if no 2008 calenders were availble toward the end of this year!

Yes - I get a little bit of a creepy feeling alright.

The author Diana Cooper says a lot of people will ascend on that date and others will move into a 4th dimension. It does make you think, well, its making *me* think!. And the Mayan were unbelievably sophisticated and ahead of their time so.....yikes! :)

It happens approximately every 26,000 years.

Cosmological alignments of all types are constantly happening.

Some religious groups will claim that it is the end of the world, but the next day they will deny everything and call the whole thing, "Silly Astrology".

If it is true, what happened to the Mayans? Guess their gods decided they were not real prophets, since they more or less disappeared.
