i found a phone and want to power up the battery but i dont have the correct charger i dont have anything else that would work with it.

lick your fingers and while grasping the phone with one hand. Stick the other hands fingers in a light socket..

Go to wal-mart and get a Universal adapter for your phone brand for 7 bucks.
