"For those that think the 'terrorists' should just accept American imperialism, think about this: It is at the core of human nature to get fed up with a bully, to get fed up with someone always telling you what to do"
The gist of BeachBums dialog is that the west has been mean to the middle east and that it's inherent in there human nature to fight back. is this really the mentality of liberals today. That Us and the West are a bunch of bully's and we should keep our noses out of their affairs. how can one champion Globalization and progress and talk down sticking our noses in foreign affairs.

While we do not always agree I respectfully disagree with her at times, why don't you email her and take it up with her direct instead of attempting to enlist support for your agenda?

1. You obviously didn't research any of my previous questions as you would have known my #1 political concern and stance is being anti-globalization.

2. You left out the entire statement... taking it out ot context. In that answer, I explained that I was referring to USA imperalism of the ME since the end of WW2.

3. You also left out where I stated some historical facts such as our arming B.Laden in Afghanistan when Russia had invaded there... I used other examples but I do know you are limited in space with asking questions.

Now, I have no intent on reporting your for personal attacks because this is a good thing... it opens up more debate on this issue which I will always welcome.

Maybe try asking some related questions to our Middle Eastern influence, methods, etc... and a good one might be to ask ppl why the ME hates us so much.

What building with thousands of people inside did WE blow up for no reason? Just wondering...

Terrorists see liberalism as a weakness and use it against the United States. We have to win this war in order to stop these people. You cannot negotiate with people who hide behind women and children.

Maybe.

The real question is: Would you rather be the bully or the bullied? If you want to live in fear for your life or the lives of your loved ones then support the withdraw of troops and a pacifist stance. If you want to live in relative security with the slight pang of guilt because your government is fighting (bullying) other governments then support hammer blows to our enemies. Really, its just that simple. It is not as though the US can stand on the sidelines, that bully will come looking for us if we're not the bully.

It was in 1977 that THEY stuck their big noses into our country's business when they attacked on our soil so I kinda think this viewpoint is moot. They started this back in the time of former President Carter and ignoring it, hoping it would go away was the thing to do. Too bad it doesn't work that way.

It cracks me up how many think the terrorism began with former President Bush Sr.

We have bullied the Middle East for years and years, militarily, economically and politically. And all to feather our own nest. Look into Middle East history and you will see why she says what she says. Liberals expect our country to live by the principles its touts to the rest of the world.
