You think you have it bad? I am 41 years old and I miss:

1) All the great cartoons from Filmation: Archies, Sabrina the Teen Aged Witch, Fantastic Voyage.

2) All the odd ball stuff like Mighty Heroes, M.U.S.H. (a funny animal parody of M*A*S*H*).

3) The really classic stuff like Underdog with all the other cartoons they had with it.

4) The Hanna Barbera World of Super Adventure which was a syndication package with the Fantastic Four, Bird Man, Space Ghost, Galaxy Trio, Dino Boy, Moby Dick.

5) The really too sexy Jose and the Pussycats.

6) When all three networks were proud of cartoons and each had a line up that ran from 6:00AM to like noon (followed by the dregs of some live action series).

7) All the cool Sidney Kroft live action shows.

So yeah they are really dropping the ball on this one, but as you get older you will see even more that you miss, that goodness, for DVDs and the dealers tables at comic cons where you can still pick some of this stuff up.

I love Ducktales and Inspector Gadget!! I have ducktales on DVD and the old school Inspector Gadget movie and I watch them all the time. Nothing compares to the old comics. I also had a soft spot for Gummy Bears and though it wasn't a cartoon, Fraggle Rock.

There's just something nostalgic about Duck Tales. I think that the older cartoons are so much fun. I was so used to those types that when the new stuff started coming I just didn't get it.

I know what you mean. The cartoons today are so violent. When I was little we watched the Smurfs and Bugs Bunny...can't find those cartoons.

you can still catch them on Cartoon Network, or once in a while, on Disney channel. I watch Tom and Jerry all the time!

Absolutely!
Old cartoons are more educative I think, and more suitable every age. Most modern cartoons are only watchable by kids.
