Eating an apple can boost your energy, it is better than a cup of coffee. Excercise too.

Actually making sure you drink plenty of water. I know it sounds real simple but fatigue is the first sign of dehydration. So the next time you feel a little sluggish try water over caffeine or sugar and see if that works. Ofcourse you have to also make sure you get enough sleep food, and enough iron as well. Because anemia will also have you fatigued all the time. Another safe and natural energy booster is morning exercise it will keep you up all day.

Some natural things would be,
Start taking a multivitimin every morning.
Drink hot green tea, you can add a little honey it is for taste, I like it plain.
Take Ginseng, (This works great for energy)
I do not recomend any type of use of stackers, or caffiene pills,
redbull works to, but not as effective if you going for a boost in energy for an everyday basis.
Also Diet Pills are not a good source of energy either, they just simply speed up your metabolic rate. This is not for energy but to burn more carbohydrates.

Try taking morning walks. Vitamin D that you get from the sun is very helpful in boosting your energy. Just a 10 minute around your neighborhood will do.

I know this might sound like the last thing a person in your situation might want to hear. But exercise is the best remedy. It boots levels of seratonin in your brain (the chemical that determines happiness amongst other things) and Endorphins (your brains natural opiates). Another thing that drains the average person is insulin imbalances. You should stop eating sugar voluntarily. Avoid sugary foods and take a multivitamin every day. Hope you feel better soon.

Rest? Not sure if you're an insomniac or such.
Are you eating enough? so here's basic Biology -- body eats food, breaks it down for energy, transports energy to parts of your body needing it.. Check your diet (the right kind of foods - not just bags of pork rinds).. check your blood pressure at the local pharmacy (Walmart).. some exercise will get the blood flowing as well.

Are you getting enough rest? You may think you are but you could be getting less sleep then you should. I'm not in the know-how of your nutrition. Eat right, eat variety I guess.
Again though, check your sleeping patterns. You may need to tweak it just a bit.

You really need to talk to your doctor about this. You might be depressed and you could have a chemical imbalance in your system that your doctor could "cure".
My sister swears by 50microgram levothyroxin pills....lol.
