We've got lots of noisy toys in the house. So our batteries never run out, the toys just keep breaking... ;)

I also use rechargeable batteries. I have three sets of them, and I only paid $10. for the first and second charger and two sets of AA bats. The third one I paid $20.00 for and it came with a set of AA and AAA and I can use it in my car. So they last 1000 charges each. I would say Not much money spent on batteries.

Used to spend $5 or more. But now I try to use NiCad rechargeable.
