I think it's definately too short, especially when you've found somebody you know you want to spend your entire life with. Then there just doesn't seem to be enough time to spend together.

I think the only way within our achievable means to reach it would just to study life more, study illnesses, the human body. Maybe the human genome project would unlock more ways for humans to live longer, maybe even stem cell research. I would also donate money to more organizations to try and find a cure, like cancer associations or diabetes, etc. Health is my passion, I'd like to become a doctor. I do want to make a difference in this world, I want to make people better, make their lives worth living, make them live longer.

Also like all these other people are saying--it's the truth, make the best of your time, because as far as we know, we do only have one life. Do what you can while you can, enjoy it and make the most of it.

Like is uncertain. Therefore, short and long are relative and not possible to determine for a particular life until after death. By then the person who would contemplate that life is dead.

Here is another observation free of charge: the more activities one engages in while alive on a daily basis the longer one's life seems to be. Conversely, the less you do on a daily basis, the shorter your life will seem. Try this on two consecutive weekends. Do nothing but sit around and goof off really doing nothing one weekend; you will probably be bored, that is the point. The next weekend be impossibly busy. go to many places do many things see a lot of people. The second weekend will seem like it lasted 2 or 3 times as long as the first slow one.

Same with a whole life.

Life is too short. No one wants to die. It's just our way. Most people say they don't want to live forver because who would want to live forever like this. I agree with that idea, most everything good that happens has a flip side. So, who would want to constantly be disappointed. But you can't be pessimistic, life's no good that way, and if you are optimistic then you would want to enjoy life longer.
Everything happens to fast, I just wish we could sit back and relax, smell the roses and take life for everything it is worth. Less stress, more good times. More time would definately be the answer to that.

Life's too short to answer questions like this.

And by that, I mean life is too short to answer serious questions with glib, silly, single sentence answers.
I find it amazing how many people say they don't want to live forever. Do they have such short lists of things they want to do that they don't care when they die?

I'm really not a Hallmark moment kind of guy, but there really are too many things to do and too many people to meet to be held by one life time.

I always thought that was a cliche, but than I heard this wonderful song by a German band Scorpions: "Life is too Short", I pondered on it and I realized that it was. It is short.

I think life is too short, and I never thought about it until I lost a loved one, when this happens, and you know you can't ever see them again, makes you want to hug your loved ones and tell them you love them everyday, and be thankful for what time you have with them, and let them know it.

it is way to short, but look at it from my perspective
1)dying is fun 2) y would you wanna live forever/longer?(bseides to see how the world would turn out and change) 3) death and prebirth are even longer oh and a little tidbit of information: you spend a third of your life sleeping

I wouldn't change anything....I would not want to live forever. The one thing I do try to remind myself is you only get one life...make the best out of what you have and don't take things for granted. :o)

It all depends on what your goals are when you come into this life.
We usually accomplish what we're meant to, and then the job's done - no matter how long or how short it was.

I think it's shorter than it has to be and death and taxes are mearly falacy and rumor.

Life is a riddle. Death just means you didn't get the right answer.
