I know I need a capture card, but what else? And what is the best kind of capture card to buy and where can I buy it?

not sure about where to get a capture card...(ebay? Best Buy?)
But you will also need an editing program, if this is gonna be a one time thing i recommend downloading the demo for sony vegas movie studio...if not then you should look into buying an editing program (possibly Sony Vegas if you wish)

PS. I think Dazzle is supposed to be a decent capture card (i think they have different ones for different quality)

A capture card is pretty much all you need for a montage.
Look into how you hook it up,
You may need a memory card depending on the circumstance.
