I have taken reasonable precautions, but high school kids would rather take the dangerous way than the long way. How can I limit my exposure to legal action?

First of all, Yes, with it being your property you will be liable and secondly just the fact that they are "kids" makes the situation a bit ridiculous! The problem today is that people are not aloud to spank or even look at their children without being judged but come on you have every right to refuse service and it is your duty as an adult to keep the kids in check and behaving so really your issue should be with the inappropriateness of the situation and not allow it anymore....not only for you but for their safety as well!!!!

First off-if the kids are caught going over the fence (in other words breaking and entering) you could 1. Have them prosecuted for tresspass 2. As a store owner at that point you can have them made "persona non grata" meaning if they show up in your business at all they can and will be prosecuted for trespass. You might have to do this once or twice for effect but kids talk and word gets around and it will quit. Yes unfortunatly you are liable however, if you have no tresspassing signs posted you have a bit of barginning power"I won't have you prosecuted for criminal trespass if you don't sue me" Making a video is a good idea if you can prove the time and date. Mentioning it to the police is an excellent idea. You need proof that you have done all that is posible to stop them. Remember The Squeeky wheel gets the grease!" Complain enough and the police may parkm a car next to the fence for a couple of days.

Do what ever is reasonable to make the kids stop this. Putting up a sign would help but it is not an absolute liability waiver.

Report this incident to the local council or authorities and ask for assistance. If you can, talk to the children and Parents about the dangers of their actions. Dogs will only aggravate the situation of one kid get bitten.

If an incident still occurs after the above actions you have taken, reason out that you have done everything reasonable that could be expected from any person, and that at some point people have to be responsible about their own actions.

You have to put up signs or verbally warn these teens of the danger. Do everything you can to keep them from going over the barbed wire fence. You may also wish to consider removing the fence and replacing it with a less dangerous fence, like a chain-link fence to lower the chance of an injury. I am certain you would hate to have one of these teens seriously injured while trying to jump across a barbed wire fence.

Wrong approach.

If you have a store you WANT to sell them things to eat. It is pretty obvious from what you said, they WANT to buy from you.

Do not make it harder, make it easier. Put a gate in the fence and let them use the gate. If they then climb over the fence and someone gets hurt, you can point to the gate and say you provided an easy access for them which they chose not to use. If it is a security issue, you can lock the gate at night.

I wont carry your hand at the same time as you leap off a fence. you would both pull me down with you, or you would fall on proper of me. in my opinion agnostic is extra effective, or atleast it become, because it actuly meant you probably did learn. Athiest merely meant you probably did not trust with or without learn. Now, both were replaced in which ability and mean diverse issues to diverse human beings. extra human beings recognize what an athiest is than an agnostic. it is your decision, and that i have chosen my direction, so I wont be following you.

If you are knowledgable of their actions and do not do anything to prevent them from doing so then you are 100% liable.
