I think they changed it for the askers, so they wouldn't get offended when asking a question and getting thumbs down; they would continue asking.

Maybe because some people would ask questions on here just to stir up controversy... They would try to get thumbs down's on purpose. I think that the purpose of Y!A making this move was to reduce the number of people asking offensive or stupid things.

thats because we cant answer questions that arent really there. How can you ask a question when it doesnt sound or even look like a question?
