Yes you can, a friend of mine receives a check from Social Security and the VA. However if your on SSDI and SSI and not receiving a VA check yet, once your VA kicks in, you'll have to give up the SSI. Suggest that you call Social Security and the VA for further information.

Yes my brother receives both.

Both are non service connected.

I have been told that you can get one or the other, but see here someone claiming to get both. Interesting. Let's both look into it further.
