with browser open next to tools drop down menu Internet options click on it you'll see fonts scroll thru fonts until you get the font you like then apply if this is of no use you might have to change a setting in the display properties in the control panel the tab is appearance then click on effects see if standard or clear type is active change as needed I'm using standard and i see very little difference in the fonts on ..Internet if that is no help you might need to adjust you screen contrast beyond that i don't know i hope this helps

Be careful .. IE7 messed up my computer altogether. Many websites were not responding. My computer got froze.
If I only had a problem with a font, it would be great. I ended up deleting IE7 from my computer until better safer version.
Now I am using IE6 and I have no problems.

Cr*ppy text in Firefox means the particular web site doesn't adhere to W3C web standards, but supports IE specific data only. All text in Firefox is completely configurable under Tools > options > Content then Advanced. Choose your fonts AND sizes. Then, uncheck the box that says: "Allow pages to choose their own fonts..."

There are some fonts that IE (6 or 7) will just not resize.
Get FireFox and you can scale any font (proportional or fixed) to virtually any size by a control key and a mouse wheel combo, or control and + and control -

If your text looks diferent, it could be either the size of your text, or the type of text.
Click on "View", then on "Text Size" and set it to "Medium".
Also click on "View", "Encoding" and checkmark "Auto Select" and "Unicode".
I hope this help.
