Im in 9th grade and my high school put on a play tonight and there were like 200 people in the audience. Most of the girls costumes consisted of pants that were sort of tight but not really tight and they had no belt. In one seen im supposed to jump on this rope-latter and the person upstairs just pulls the latter up and im supposed to just hang on.Theres someone at the bottom of the latter and she's supposed to try to grab my shoes. As im on my way up she jumps to grab them with 2 hands but she reached to high and grabbed the bottom of my pants and yanked them down. And since i wasnt wearing shoes my pants came all the way off and fell to the ground. Why in the world would I think this could happen so I didnt even consider what underwear I was wearing. So im just hanging from the ladder in my LITTLE MERMAID PANTIES while the entire audience (mostly my classmates) are pointing and laughing.Tell me other girls have been caught with embarrassing undies like the ones i was exposed in

Well, for me 9th grade was a long time ago.

But a couple of weeks ago, I was shopping for new jeans. As I go into the dressing room to change, my 3 year old daughter decides she wants to come with me, instead of staying with her daddy. Like so many other changing rooms now, this one had no doors, just a curtain. As I'm taking my jeans off, she squeals, "Mommy, you're wearing Tinkerbell!" She throws open the curtain to "show daddy" (and the whole dressing room to see), and I was right in front of the door that goes out into the store!
So not only was my husband standing there with our son, but so were 4 other men, waiting on their wives/girlfriends, who got a flash my my panties.

I smiled weakly, closed the curtain, quickly put my jeans back on, and left the dressing room- followed by loud clapping from the men that got an eye-full. I found my jeans elsewhere that day.

First as much as you might feel absolutely terrified about what people are saying on the inside, at least look like you could actually care less on thee outside. Here I have a similar story. about 4 years ago when I was in the 8th grade, I had the most outrageous best friend and our lockers were right beside each other and this guy whose friend liked her, ran behind her and pulled her pants down infront of our whole 8th grade hall and every single person saw. She was wearing spiderman underwear I think. thing is everyone saw, then the next day she just acted like whatever, and people had more respect for her showing to school the next day and acting like she didn't care, then faking sick. So just atleast pretend like it doesn't phase you, It's not worth worrying about, cuz believe me, you'll be old news in less than a week.

How lame that they were laughing! I'm 28 and I STILL think The Little Mermaid is awesome...I love mermaids! And hey, it shows you have a fun side by wearing undies like that. So show them you have a sense of humor and shrug it off. THEY are the immature ones for laughing at you. Anyone mature enough wouldn't point and laugh...they'd think, "Hey, stuff happens and you move on". If you show them it doesn't bother you at all, they'll have nothing to laugh at.

Where did you get Little Mermaid undies, by the way?? I want some...

Oh my god! Okay, I'll be honest, I giggled a little bit, but mainly because Little Mermaid Undies are SOOOOOO rad!!!! I've had something like that happen to me around the same grade you are in, but 10 times worse, I got my period and I was wearing white pants, and the WHOLE school knew, it was SO embarassing. Dont sweat it tho babe, trust me, in 5 years you'll look back on it and laugh... Who cares, it'll pass over in a day or two, someone else will bare the brunt of another embarassing moment. Sorry that happened to you though, don't stress too much hehe, silly girl :) *hugs*

Let's hope no one got this on tape and puts it on YouTube...

You have my sympathies and you deserve a good cry.

No doubt, it is going to be a rough couple of days ahead.
How you handle it will show a lot of character. Either you remain
mortified or roll with the punches on this one. Eventually, it will
become something you'll laugh about - and you'll look back
and have a good laugh (yes at your own expense).

Hold your chin up and and if someone asks about your
Little Mermaid undies - just reply that at least you were wearing
undies and they were clean. However, NEXT time you plan on
wearing Barbie or Scooby-Do (insert something cleaver to get
a good laugh).

It'll blow over soon enough.

Your fact "fashions are bitches", perhaps you're performing that way in the route of human beings in college. once you tell human beings why you've been lengthy gone, what do you tell them??? All you should assert is i become out of city and under no circumstances something more suitable. Just go to school with your little mermaid shirt. Dont let them know you was embarrassed. Make a joke about it. The more people know it bothers you the more they will pick, Just pretend you dont care at all. Joke by saying, if you thought my lil mermaid panties were funny, you should have seen what i was wearing under them.

Wink and walk off.

I wish I had Little Mermaid panties. Every girl in the world has at least one pair of underwear that they don't want to be seen in. And that is SOOO much better than if you hadn't worn any at all. In a week nobody will remember.

Beleive it or not, someday you will be able to laugh about this. I know that sound s mean but I have been where you are and I have lived a long time and I know how these things go in life. You will suffer for a while and it will get better and further away and , believe me , someday you will tell this story to somebody to make them laugh at the pathos and frailties of life. Take care, little one.

Dont worry about it....everybody has a moment in their life, especially when your in school. When I was in high school the teachers were asked what their most memorable moment was during the school year, so they could put it in our annual. One teacher's quote was that "Lisa ******** came to class three days in a row." The only problem is I dont even remember having that teacher at all !!! Could have been worse...especially if you would have had granny panties on !!!
