Yes, along with the polka and square dancing. The tuition and courtyard were of Spanish design with a lovely tiled fountain. Our outdoor dances were held there and people of us who desired to study to bounce would take part. I consider it does appear quaint now, but it surely brings again good reminiscences for these of us who attended this school. It still stands, however all the attractive architecture has been transformed right into a as an alternative drab cutting-edge form.

Call American Bandstand in Overland Park...they used to have classes on Sunday nights.
I don't know if they still do, but it wont hurt to try.
