5(2x-3) - 6x < 9

10x - 15 - 6x < 9

10x - 6x < 9 + 15

4x < 24

x < 24/4 which gives us x < 6

solve for x: 5(2x-3)-6x<9
5(2x-3)-6x<9
10x-15<9
10x<9+15
10x<24
x<2.4 or 12/5 or 2/2/5
x is< than 2.4 but not= to 2.4
therefore x=3

Use distributive property:
10x-15-6x<9
4x-15<9
4x<24
x<6

Check:
5(2(6)-3)-6(6)=9
5(12-3)-36=9
5(9)-36=9
45-36=9
9=9

I hope this helps!
