First of all...each of us is skilled beyond what we think we are. We have all resources needed to face any problem!
A dead end job or career means a new opportunity to understand oneself clearly and make a job/career change.
A dead end relationship means an opportunity to look afresh at life. Fix the priorities and set a Goal and move on!

about the relationship part - if you are living with or married the only way is to make the move out. and forget about the finanaces or whatever else it is keeping you there. I recently got rid of a crappy *** 8 year relationship and im mad at myself i didnt do it sooner and im a broke *** ***** now but im still better off. the sooner the better.
