But you are right.
If you had, say Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler do "Black Chicks", they would be called bringing back the blackface minstrel show, among other unpleasant terms

I love black people; both men and women. I don't care what a few out of millions have said or done, I still like black men. So much hate is unhealthy. With so much hate in your heart, how can any love get through? Maybe the black men around you have a reason for mistreating you. Perhaps you are unpleasant to be around. Everyone's different. So you shouldn't judge all for what a few have done. And Jeyda, you are far too cute to be so hateful. It's clear you have some esteem issues and you feel inferior. Perhaps you should seek therapy. Take the other black men haters with you.

You would be publicly ridiculed and called racists. People would go on and make dramatic speeches about how your movie typifies the "culture of racism" and be they would be applauded for it. Groups would probably organize boycotts and protests, and some of the more radical ones would probably demand whatever revenue you made from the movie as reparations.
Consider this: When they made the movie "White Men Can't Jump" it was considered a good movie. If someone made a movie called "Black Men Can't Think", I can't even begin to imagine the uproar it would cause.
Our society sets an incredible double-standard as far as what it defines as racism, so I would advise you to be very careful with the subject of race. It is likely to cause more trouble than it's worth.

Well yea the only reason whites are picked on. Is because none of us really give a f-ck what other people say about us. And it is considered bad to point out were being oppressed haha cause look at history. One day everyone will all be the same color though so race probably will be a thing of the past. So I wouldn't worry to much about it.

There was a movie where a white boy pretended to be black to get into college. It was made in the 80's and was pretty silly too.
It was called Soul Man.

although some might say it was racist i think you would get away with it as LICCA said there was a movie in the 80's about a white guy pretending to be black
LICCA i believe the movie was called 'soul man' or something very similar to that
and although i agree there is a double standard when it comes to racism greendragonmaw has taken it a little far. saying black men cant think is worse than saying white men cant jump. i would equate it more like asian men cant drive or black men cant swim

It would probably depend on just how famous you were before making the movie and exactly HOW you made the movie. that is very sensitive ground and the line can be so easily crossed. in general no it would probably not be accepted and for very good reasons. Too many jerks out there would do it with a disgusting sense of humor and it would be looked down upon. (not saying you would - saying how it would be perceived.)
But i could see it being done with good intentions - but only by someone incredibly famous and even then they would have a very fine line to walk.

It would probably depend on the storyline. If they were portrayed as being the "stereotypical" black chicks, then yes trouble. If they were cute and lovable, probably not. If they were KKK members and slave owners, not that funny. Ditsy rich girls that liked to go shopping and modeling, kinda cute.

I guess it would depend in what taste the movie was done. If it was humorous without being harsh or cynical it should be OK.
I know I wouldn't be offended. But I'm white.
Try it... See how you go.
Good luck :)
