Why do people leave such stupid comments on myspace?

comments like OmG u R sO hAwT
U R SO PRETTIII!

And why type like THiS?
*shakes head* Why can't intelligent people be allowed on computers, and the others kicked off for stupidity.
The stupid comments are the main reason I deleted my account in the first place...

it is the immorality in the system who is to blame, however, if communication strategy is your argument, there is nothing wrong with their usage of words.
