Should I watch the 3hr miniseries before I start season 1. I'm talking about the new updated series not the 1970s. Will the special miniseries spoil anything from the episodes? I remember watching the movie, Serenity and that basically spoiled the entire Firefly tv series. So, watch the miniseries first, then the episodes?

Yes, watch the miniseries first, the series picks up basically where the miniseries leaves off.

Yes, watch the mini-series first, then the show. Season 1 dvd, however, already comes with the miniseries included with it, so get that if you plan to buy them on dvd.

sure watch it.. its not gonna ruin anything in my opinion.. besides the show is in its 3rd or 4th season.. i highly doubt one little miniseries will ruin anything.. if anything it gives you an idea of what to expect
