why not just lock them in a room and make them become citizens? instead of wasting all this money by deporting them so they can just come back and then we can use the money to build a better border solution?

That's not a bad idea. It's funny how conservatives get so steamed about illegal immigration. Seems to me these Mexicans coming here are conservatives, they don't like waiting around for bureaucratic red tape and paperwork. I believe that the issue is being drummed up by politicians to score political points. Without that issue Republicans might have suffered heavier losses in the congress in the south and mid west. The answers being proposed by both parties are costly and impractical, that's why they can't get anything passed. They should offer amnesty and ninety nine percent of the problems would be solved. Forget teaching them English, or giving them tests about our government that most of our citizens couldn't answer anyway. If they want to learn English and assimilate more power to them. Bring them out of the shadows and put them to use making our country a better place.

There are thousands if not millions of people all over the world trying the legal way to get in, why give Mexicans the green light when they came in illegally. We have to fence up the border and kick out the illegal’s and keep them out, let them apply the legal way.
