Wireless internet question, help please...?

I use my neighbors wireless internet connection but lately it's been coming up with internet explorer error messages like it's not connected to the internet. I checked the connection and it says it's connected. Does anyone know why I can't view the pages?

Your neighbor could have changed some settings on his router, or set static IP address instead of dynamic.
Actually any of the DNS settings off of his router could keep you from connecting. Check with him to see if something changed.

Have same problem, call and told "type in wyz"; Oh good it's corrected, Oops "Error" "Error". Monthly statement arrives in mail and charged for the "ErrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooR time,
call their Customer Friendly Telephone DIRECT line and, a macine voice asks:
You speak Putoarian push 1, speak English-can't help, need assistance with repeated "Error Problem ,such as not connected to the Internet, push 99 to hear Friendly Menu Repeated.ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz
My answer is really, do what I'm doing more often, take a pen and paper write to your friends and relatives, go to US Post Office, buy stamps and talk to a real human being as you mail a REAL letter, that expresses a real emotion.

does your neighbor give u permission to use the wireless?

if no, sorry cant help you. most likely, its spyware destroying your pc which you deserve, moocher.

if yes, ask them if their having a problem with their internet. again, its mostly spyware from all those *wink*-*wink* sites you've been visiting.

Hi. Your neighbor may have encrypted their router. Did you have permission? They could give you the key.
