I think that two people can be destined to be together, even if they are married to others. I believe that some people go through things in life as a learning experience,we may have met our husband or wife and jumped into it because at the time we felt like that is what we were supposed to do,not that we had an overwhelming love for this person. I think that if your heart was not all given to the person you married than at a later time you finally do find the one that compliments you in every way, that you are able to realize what it was you wanted all along not just what you thought you had. I do not be live that it is a cruel joke on God's part but more of a learning experience,a way to show us listen to your heart.

I used to think that but I've thought that twice now. So was I destined to be with 2 people? I don't know. Yes, one of them was married. Cruel joke on God's part? God wouldn't be so cruel. I call it a mistake of fate.

I don't believe in destiny, I don't believe in soul mates. I believe that there's several people in this world that would be 'perfect' for you. It's a matter of where you're at. If I lived in California, I might have married a wonderul blonde haired, blue eyed actor and been happy for the rest of my life. However, I live in Michigan and I married a brown eyed, bald farmer and I am completely happy.
As far as being married and believing your destined to be with another person--maybe it's boredom, maybe it's lust... but it's not real. Like I said, I don't believe in destiny. I belive that you can learn to love someone and be happy. With that said, I believe a marriage can be fixed in even the worse of situations. And of course that wouldn't be a cruel joke on God's part, he wouldn't do that. He might test our marriages to bring us closer together and prove to us who's in control, but ultimately, I don't believe God would wish failure on anyone's marriage.
That's just my two cents.... I'm not saying it's right.

yes I believe that, but it rarely happens. If one or both are married when they meet, then it's a sign from God that those 2 are not destined to be together. But 'cause love is blind, ppl dont see it that way!.......... and no, God would never joke w/ u!!!!!

Yes I do believe it.. God's joke no. Sometimes it takes that to realize it. I personally know a 89 yr old that had that happen. Years ago , about 60 I think they met and both married. Now that both of there spouse have past on, they are now together. Kinda cool if you ask me..*

I believe that we may find pieces of soul mates in others, and that perhaps there is that special one who is our soul mate completely. That doesn't mean that they will necessarily end up together, but having them in our lives in whatever way is better than nothing for sure. I do not think God would be so cruel as to keep people apart forever, but I am not Him. I am sure that I will meet my complete soul mate one way or another, someday..... :)

I believe in power of Love and this Power over comes any obstacles that are in the way I do believe that we are all destine for that special person ...maybe not of this world ,but of another time..however I believe God shows us the way to be in harmony with each other ,but He also expects us to pay attention to His guidence and without guidence mistakes can be made..so just that certain smile, touch, glance, could BE..love but, I believe your heart will always tell you whats right and whats wrong......kara

I think that if they were destined to be together then they would have met before either of them got married.

It's destiny but people get hurt on the way to fulfilling it. I think it is a cruel joke, not fair.
