very normal my baby does the same thing. I am 33 weeks and have been experiencing this for the past month. as long as you are feeling movement no matter how little it's good. I was told that babies have up and down days just like us. Also i noticed that i sometimes dotn notice movements but when i look down i will all of a sudden see my belly start flopping...so maybe you are just missing some. When you are really worried try drinking a cold drink and lay down on your left side, this sometimes helps. Believe it or not my dr said that he doesnt get concerned until it's been like 10 hours without movements, and that never ends up happening with me! I have gone a few hours without much but then the baby always starts to move. Sorry for rambling but i hope this helps you calm down a little bit, i am sure your baby is fine but be sure to keep your dr informed. Good luck!

You're not being paranoid. You're doing just fine. Sounds like pretty much every other pregnancy, including my own. My son would hardly move around during the day and just wait until I lay down for bed and have a party! You might want to consider what you're doing during the day as well. My son seemed less active than I thought during the day because I was so busy and didn't notice as much what he was doing. I think when the docs want you to count movements, it's not so literal. They want to be assured that the child is active and that there's not a drastic change in that activity. Relax and enjoy the last few weeks of pregnancy. By the way, toward the end of your pregnancy, his movements will seem less and less deliberate simply because he's running out of room. I think my doc said if there was nothing in a five or six hour period to call the nurse, but that didn't happen at all.

You have every right to be worried. I'm a mother of 3 and have had this problem. My doctor advised that I drink a large glass of orange juice or a can of coke and lay on your side. You should feel about 10 kicks in 30 minutes. If not call your doctor. You need to make sure that everything is okay. It better to go in for nothing then not to go in at all and find out that something was wrong. Congratulations

its normal to worry about it. I think most moms to be do. Sometimes drinking some juice or something sugary ( juice is best) will get baby moving a bit. its normal for them to have those spaz periods and then quieter ones. give a quick call to the doctors office and speak to one of the nurses in the morning and ask about how often you should feel movements, and when to become concerned about movements. that will help to ease your mind.
take care!

You have 10 weeks to go so your baby is really getting cramped for space in there. Also, when you are busy with your day, moving around, you are rocking your baby to sleep. As long as you are feeling some movement each day everything is fine. I went through this with all three of mine and was worried for nothing.

Try drinking a large glass of apple juice (natural sugars) and lay down on your left side for 30 mins. if you feel no movement go to Labor & Delivery, if you feel a small amount of movemnet call your OB tommorow & ask for a NST (non stress test) external monitor that measures all movemnet for 20 to 30 mins. Good LUck

Yes. Many babies do that. Kick all throughout the day, then the next maybe one small movement. It's quite normal. Good luck.

Yes, my baby did that too! It kinda freaked me out too at first. Now, I'm 33 weeks pregnant and he's always moving around. It's not always gonna be a certain time.....well, mine wasn't...but my baby moves mainly at night. If u feel unsure about it, call your doctor and talk with them about it.

i totally understand...i am 36 weeks and i do get worried when she doesn't move...your baby is getting bigger in there so the baby doesn't have that much room to move...and sometimes if the baby is so active..the next day the baby wont be so active...
as long as you go to the doctor and the doctor says the baby is fine...then i dont think you have anything to worry about.
