Before money, barter was the only means of exchange. All money is is a fungible store of value, so you are not limited in the items you can receive in exchange. So before money, you had to trade the assets themselves, whether that was in the form of goods or services. If another person didn't have what you wanted, you wouldn't want to trade with them, and a mutually beneficial transaction didn't take place. This limited the economy of early peoples, so the concept of money was invented.

Much before money,food grains and live stocks were exchanged,land ownership and protecting/attacking force were form of power

Before currency, precious items were probably the best. Think gold, diamonds, rubies, seashells, obsidian, bronze, etc.

Probably pagan religions. ie, Pharoahs and other such ancient rulers claiming to be descendants of gods in order to maintain power over the population and justify wars and projects such as the pyramids.

Money (i.e. a means of exchange) came much later. It was usually payments "in kind" as in giving a cow in exchange for production of food.

Probably sexual favors. After all, they say that prostitution is the oldest profession. Other than that, I'd guess some kind of animal product/byproduct or natural resource.
