I plan to marry a guy with a worker's visa. He doesn't want to be a US citizen..what laws should I be aware of in case something didn't work out in the future.

Well, if he's not interested in being a citizen, it should not be a problem. He'll get a green card, of course, but he'd better keep his passport current and stay on good terms with his own government, so that they will take him back if you two should break up. If you did, his green card would be reviewed at that time, and he'd probably have to go home.
