Although some questions are asked in an intelligent manner, I am perplexed. I have seen a question about HIV ( an intelligent question), questions of S & M, and numerous other topics. Why do these constantly fall under the LGBT category. Most sex questions also, no matter the relevance, end up here as well. Is this category just a catch-all for taboo topics that are not mainstream? How can this category become centralized to issues that are relevant to LGBT.

I am not saying that HIV, sex, and S & M cannot be LGBT problems, but the questions only seem to be general.

From what I understand, alot of people simply can't navigate Yahoo! Questions or there are no other Sex Forums for them to answer in. I'm not sure which.

Either way, the only thing I find totally disgusting to even think about is children being abused or animals. Both are innocent and should be left that way! Until Yahoo! gives us a Moderator to start deleting offensive questions, we don't have a lot of choice except to "report" offensive questions and HOPE someone notices.

Well, those topics tend to be subcultures of gay culture, but I also see that there are straight couples of whom also seek out this varitey. Only spectulating, perhaps because these cultures are a bit more "liberal" than what are traditionally or conventionally accepted to be apart of a realtionship. I would also like to point out that the gay community is the only community that supports such cultures in holding events annually specifically tailoring to a culture, for an example, the Mr. Leather contest.

HIV and AIDS are there own subjects. They have always been handed down as the "gay disease". While the more knowledgible know this not to be true, the impact of so many years of the idea is still felt. One particular organization in Los Angeles for HIV/AIDS awareness boasted them as the "gay disease" to get people to talk about it, become aware, and informed.

Ahhh... sex. The only "people" I have ever been able to openly talk about sex with are my friends...gay friends. I once discussed sex (oral and anal) over coffee at a local Starbucks and was not surprised to see people around us get up and chose different seating. It made me laugh. Everyone has does it. I guesss he and I were that comfortable with ourselves and therefore each other to discuss sex. I enjoyed it a lot. :)

I am not quite sure why. But perhaps who the writer of the question is perhaps identify it to belong to the LBGT problem. Most of the questions are asked to agree to the LBGT people. But they too could have been put in another category. I'ts just in the eyes of the beholder.

I would love to see a BDSM, D/s and M/s forum to be able to answer questions. Since I am bi and lifestyle D/s, and have a female submissive who is my life partner, this seems to be the place where I am most comfortable.

I agree with you, but have no real answer to your question. I have no idea why so many straight questions are on this forum.

I've seen those questions fall under other categories too, not just the GLBT

I agree, I just answered the one about HIV and I think that people come into this catagory because they just aren't sure where to put their queries.

Well, it seems that Yahoo is fully in support of gay bashers coming into the LGBT forum and spreading their warped sense of view.
