Yeah that's OCD. Perfectionism is more about doing things properly and whatever's most efficient. We will go the extra mile to get things done whether its for our work or private life. Even if it means we have to get up earlier, skip lunch, or whatever may be needed to achieve our goals. Not obsessing over irrelevant things like keeping even numbers while we Yahoo.A perfectionist would find that a huge waste of time and keep them from more pressing or at least more interesting things.

like everyone else said..thats more OCD. so no
but i pretty much am a perfectionist.
i try to always make sure to spell everything right in my posts or whatever. i dont care too much about the structure because im terrible at organizing..just another thing to waste time on. i also am not satisfied with my room right now. the floors clean except for a box and im bothered that i dont have everything in the place i feel its most suited for. my desk is a bit of a mess and im stressing about that too...im still bothered about my armpit hair. i cant get it all shaved off..theres still tiny pieces. so yeah you can tell im a perfectionist.

Well we do this in our on ways I think, my deal is I have to make the quota votes which is my maxium, and I have to answer the maxium amount of question that I have to answer. I always want to get at least four best answers a day but of course that hardly even happens. I have gotten four before but not every day.

Sounds more like OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) to me than perfectionism, IMHO.

No to the above, but I do check my questions quite a lot for answers and also if any of my answers are in voting :)

Yes. It's usually on an even 10 or an even 5 when I leave.

Am I weird or what?

I must not be a perfectionist because I've never even thought of those things.

I stop when I find something else to do.

You do realize that when you come back the next day, you'll get a point, thus ruining your "perfect" score, right?

I think that goes beyond perfectionism. Sounds more like OCD.
