You probably have problems with the connexions of the different parts in your computer, such the graphic card (if not an integrated one) not well plugged in its socket.
I would advise getting the tower to a technician so he can look it up inside and... well clean the possible mess.

it could just be a video card problem, but the no lights on the cpu is questionable. did your computer normally beep when you turned it on, and if so, is it beeping now the same way? also are all of the fans running and not just the power supply fan because with no lights it may be a different problem. i would try reseating the video card first, and if thats not it, see if you can salvage an old one that you know works. if neither of those works, it may be a bigger problem.

Have you got another computer you can try it on (laptop or friends PC). It sounds like the cable's not connected (which you've already checked) so it could either that the cable is damaged, or the PC is not sending out a signal. If you plug the monitor into another computer and it works - it's a problem with the PC. If it doesn't work on another computer it could be the cable. Hope you sort it out soon.

Looks like your video card took a crap on you. Replace the adapter with another one that should eliminate your problem.

Hi. Reseat the graphics card and double check your cables. "No input" means the monitor is not getting a signal.

Broken video card, or something happened to that card; nothing else.

Check the battery on your mother board. Check your hard drive connections. Your system is not getting past the POST!
Check Key Board connectivity. Take the RAM out then replace it. Make sure your computer is clean on the inside!
Disconnect before opening the case.
