Robbie Williams. I don't find Bono's voice appealing either. Coldplay - what a bunch of whiners - their songs go on and on and I still can't remember how they go at the end of it.
I agree with everyone about Madonna too - she has no voice to speak of, although she has some talent at songwriting.

I'd go with Led Zeppelin. The lyrics are idiotic. Unlike other bands with idiotic lyrics, like Styx, they're not even comical. Long, boring, drawn out instrumentals. Plant's voice grates on my soul. I don't get the fascination with Led Zeppelin. The influence they had was on bands that pretty much sucked. They were damned good instrumentalists....I have to give them that.
My second choice.....Phish. They had one of the all time worst covers (Talking Heads Cities).

hmmm..tough tough.
id say Red Hot Chili Peppers (which i absolutely hate) but my exbf likes them and that might be alot of the reason i dont like them.
so to make it fair i would say: most of those rappers out there (Akons the worst btw)...or Justin Timberlake. JT alot of people think hes so good but they need to face it! he was good back then sure but the man has lost it. he can no longer dance or sing. hes completely lost his edge. i hope hes better at acting than he is at music cuz that would mean the new movie w/him would be a major flop. i think he should retire from music already. hes gotten too old quick.
