1.) reporting that it would be very easy to target one single muslim inside our American' prisons to iniate a disaster and plot against us.
2.) reporting that Hazballah is already inside the US in North Carolina.
3.) reporting that AlQuida is using now student visas to get into the US.
4.) reporting that more training camps for AlQuida are being built.

Is the media over doing it? Just to make American's nervous for their future?
Whats your thought on this? Should the media report such matters?

The media does likes to sell stories, but strongly feel most all the above is true. The world does not realize it but when Hussein declared a Jihad he united all the Muslims in the world to join in the religious war. We will have terrorism and more of the same for years to come or until we put a stop to all Religions. This I feel is the number one cause of all wars.

The media reports what they think will make money!
It's that simple. It comes down to dollars and cents, and it doesn't matter if it doesn't make sense as long as the profits for the company are above the competitors.
This means that you and I will receive what the masses want. Not intellectual reporting but what the masses want to hear or else the media will lose viewers and the result would be a loss of revenue. Ratings pander to the lowest common denominator. At this rate we end up with entertainment and fear mongering not news.
And that is the way the planet spins in the world of news media.

I havn't heard any of that. May be #2 on c-span some where. May be you're too sensitive to those reports. I don't see too many reports like the above. Usually I hear similar ideas as quick short comments during long interview with experts, insiders. I think criticism and paranoia about media is even more out of control.

It would not be read or "news worthy" if not negative or controversial. How many good stories do you see making any headlines except things like Saddam executed, or Taliban stronghold leveled. Things like new stadium erected, homeless figures down, community helps family who lost all in a fire, just don't have sales impact.
