If you where to choose the four players to participate in the 2007 nba slam dunk contest in Las Vegas, who would it be?

Hmmm....if I had the choice to choose I'd go with the best, not the young rookies. It get's boring watching a bunch of rookies who you don't even know in the dunk contest. I would choose Vince Carter, Dwight Howard, Dahntay Jones, and Andre Iguodala. I've been watching a lot of highlights and these are a few of the guys that really impressed me. Vince Carter is one of the best dunkers of all time. Dwight Howard is a great big man that has a higher vertical jump than Amare Stoudemire, SICK! I've seen a lot of Dahntay Jones from the Grizzlies that has been dunking over everybody. And lastly Andre Iguodala who should have won the dunk contest last year.

Personally, I'd like to see little Earl Boykins square off in the competition against Mavs owner Mark Cuban.
And I'd even allow for Cuban to use a trampoline, just like the mascots do.
While I'm at it, I think I'd like to see David Stern be the sole judge of the competition, and then Cuban could whine about how he got screwed afterwards.
Alas, where is Julius Erving, or Michael Jordan, when you need them.

Hopefully Lebron but he doesn't do dunk contests. plus last years was stupid because nate robinson got a thousand tries to put the ball in the hoop. What happend to the rules?

If you want acrobatic dunks then you want Gerald Green (Celtics) Lebron James (Cavaliers) Vince Carter (Nets) Kobe Byrant (Lakers). But If you want the guys who dunk on people Vince Carter (Nets) Dwight Howard (Magic) Stromile Swift (Grizzles) Caron Butler (Wizards)

Of course there should be a dunk contest...thats what the allstar break is all about. The contestants though should be actual superstars not some rookies or no names. It should be lebron, melo, a i , dirk, amare, tracy, of course vince, and maybe pierce.

I'd love to see Lebron. But that will never happen. Two people that should definitely be there are Josh Smith of the Hawks and Gerald Green of the Celtics.
