We have an Xbox and I've been wondering if I really need to trade up to the Xbox 360 or not. Is it worth it?

I think you should upgrade to the 360 because there's a lot of good games coming out for it. But I don't recommend trading in the XBX for the 360 because there are still a lot of XBX games that can't be played on the 360. If you must trade, you can either 1. look at the games that you have and the games that are not compatible on the 360. Then decide if you can live without those games. If you can, then by all means trade it in to get the 360. But if you can't, then wait until the game makes the list or you get more money. 2. Trade the XBX and all its games.

It's almost a mandatory upgrade. Keep in mind that you'll still want your XBox (Or at least for awhile), but all of the games that are coming out will be on the 360. The 360 also has better graphics and, if I'm not mistaken, Halo 3 is going to only be made for the 360.

I would trade it in. It is definitely worth it. Allthough the 360 can not play alot of the original xbox games it does offer updates to some of them, so that those few can be played on the 360. Right now you won't get much trade in credit, so it might be a good idea to just buy a 360 and keep the xbox too, so you can continue playing your favorite games incase the 360 can not play it and no update is offered for in, via xbox live.(updates are free). The 360 has much more to offer you than the xbox, in graphics, downloadable games that save on it, some outstanding games to play, more equipment and accessaries to use for gaming, and so much more. So wether you trade your old xbox or just buy a new 360, I would reccomend either way to get one.

Hold off on it. The 360 still isn't 100% compatible with the Xbox. Even if it were, there is currently NO way to transfer your data over.

It is definitely worth it, 360 is better in every aspect. In about 6 months microsoft will stop producing xbox games and you'll be stuck with an outdated system.

dude....you HAVE to get the 360...i mean it may not seem like much coming from me but the great games for the 360 are coming out for this whole year...and it is like the original xbox but a lot better
