I think Jimmy Carter would make an excellent Attorney General if they overlook the fact he has no legal background. Otherwise, Jimmy Carter would make an excellent addition to hopefully a Democratic Administration to be elected in 2008. But I feel former President Carter's greatest strength lies in his moral values and expertise in foreign affairs.

The key word here is attorney. Jimmy Carter is not an attorney. He went to Naval Academy then served 7 years & became a peanut farmer. Then ran for office in GA - served, became President & wrote a bad book & does good chairty work.
He is not a qualified Attorney General even at state level.

What a dumb statement. To be Attorney General, it makes sense that being an attorney is part of the job description. Jimmy Carter is a nuclear engineer & diplomat. Doesn't sound like he matches the position very well, does it?

I believe that President Carter is a great humanitarian and a very intelligent man (did you know he has a degree in nuclear engineering?) but he does not perform well in a position that requires difficult decisions. I was around we he was the President and he wasn't very impressive.

He's very old now, but he would be outstanding and the best choice for Attorney General in many, many, many years.

The guy wasn't fit for public office when he was younger.. now that he's old and partially senile.. I'd have to think not.
