I'm not very political, but I am a liberal. I hate George Bush and just about everything to do with his administration. I will say however that of the '08 candidates for President I've heard about so far, Guliani has my vote. I live in upstate NY and I think that the leadership he exhibited during NY's greatest crisis demonstrates that he is a LEADER - something this country needs. I know he also did a lot during his tenure in NYC to clean the city up and reduce crime. Results, that's what counts. I like McCain too. He just seems less concerned with politics and more concerned with doing what he believes in. Are there any other Democrats out there with similar feelings?

As a Dem, I love both of these guys. Giuliani because he's a New Yorker, and that's just the kind of "kickassatude" we need right now. And McCain spent years in a tiger cage for crying out loud. Again, pretty hardcore.

I'm officially sick of the ultra elite rich frat boys running the show. On both sides.

Well, as everyone knows who's been reading Y/A politics for a while, I'm opposed to the Bush Government for a plethora of reasons. But... I like both Gulliani and McCain. I think McCain is a fairly honorable man. I think Gulliani is a man of immense bearing.

I wish the Democratic Party had Presidential candidates that were as substantial in personality and integrity, and right now I don't think they do.

Still, The Dems have to take the next election. Let's hope that their candidates are stronger than I think they are.

Neither. And Guiliani before McCain. McCain has been sucking up to Bush for the past 7 years and positioning himself for the Presidental run. He is totally obssesed with getting the nomination -- so I totally disagree with you about McCain.

Gulliani. I mean look what he did to clean up a whacked up New York leading up to 9/11.

Intelligent posting! It's better to vote on qualifications rather than politics. I won't be voting for either Guiliani or McCain, but I support your decision to do so.

the in user-friendly words difficulty Gullliani solved become to get rid of those metal beams, earlier someone chanced on the reality about 9/11. Sorry, yet you've were given to be plenty smarter than that, in case you want to stay contained in the Whitehouse!

I'll agree that those are the most appealing of the Republicans. Not gonna decide just yet though.
McCain would've been a better Pres. 10 yrs ago than he would be now. He wasn't as cynical. Thanks a lot G.W. and Karl Rove :(
