Many of those who call themselves "liberals" are the most intolerant people I have ever met. "Hate" is not too harsh, it is accurate. They are so sure that they are right that they think anyone who doesn't see things their way is either stupid or evil.

Hey, forget it, we ALL LOST. oNly good thing is they will be on ACORN like a stick and also the "prepaid, untraceable credit cars. You can fool us once, but not twice. Funny but only about 20% of country would even entertain such a left wing agenda. I mean doing everything under the sun to bankrupt an already in hot water country ans the doesn't include cap and trade, bs and the $3 trillion life saving "green" dream for GE. It's a joke. who ever said was right we lost, but there is hope!

Lieberman was wrong on a "major" issue in regards to his party. For major reasons. What do you expect to have happened?
I disagree with Lieberman's position as a democrat, and would not have wanted him casting his pro-war votes in the senate. That's why we wanted him out. Principle. Not personal.
Nothing hateful about that.
He was and is, on the wrong side of the issue, and therefore his party.

First of all, you are talking about politicians, not "democrats". By referring to democrats, you are referring to what is now over half of the country.
Secondly, democrats do not have the monopoly on "disliking" those who don't agree with them. Bush recently replaced all of his top generals, who all said troop increases were a poor strategy, with new generals that all think it's a terrific idea. I'm not taking sides on the troop decision, however I am pointing out that disagreeing with the Head of the republican party gets you re-assigned.
Both parties have issues with tunnel vision.

Leiberman was dropped because the democrats of Connecticut disagreed with his position. Just because he's held the same office for a certain number of terms doesn't mean it is guaranteed that the people will want him back everytime. It doesn't mean that he's entitled to keep the office. Last time I looked, we were still a democracy with the right to chose who we want to represent us. Obviously, the democratic voters of conneticut decided that he didn't represent them or their views. Why do you have such a problem with choice?

Unfortunately, ALL politicians are Human...and in that flawed.
The republican party is made up of, and maintained by millions of organized Christians. Dem's know that the only way we can keep this country out of harms way is to keep the power we now have in the house and senate. We have to stay together and work to become organized, in order to continue to keep these insane Republicans where they belong - in church!

Go back to hate. The only thing they love more than hating is accusing others of hating. I know I'd hate to be a liberal. How hard it would be to get around without a spine?
