Ok what I mean by n~ is that pie sign used in math

Anyways my question is this..

3)I think this is a right triangle here in my book and on the left side theres an 8 and on the bottom theres a 9

I have to find the area of the rectangle. and it says where necesssary use use n~3.14

4) is a rectangle... on the right side theres a 7 and on the bottom theres a 13 (theres not other #'s)

5.) is a circle... theres a line that goes down the middle of it from the top in the center and inside the circle theres a 3 right beside the line.( NOTE the line only goes down halfway from the top)

6)The perimeter of a square is 12 meters. what is the length of a side of the square?

7) The radius of a circle is 4 inches. what is the circumfrence of the circle?
(USE n~3.14)

8)You are putting a fence around a rectangular garden with length 15 feet and width 8 feet. What is the length of the fence that you will need?Please showyourwork for all Qs5starsforthefirstpersonwithallcorrectAs

PS, I need this answer relatively fast. Also as I ran out of room above. 5 stars to the first person with all correct As and please show work AND explain.

THANKS very much I also promise to answer one of your future questions as well!(at least if i know the Answer)

if I didnt mention above, Please show all your work on how you got the answer even if you did it in your head.

Once again I promise 5 stars to you tommorow (since I have to wait 4 hours to award someone unfourtnarily)

pi is only used in circle, so
3) area of a triangle is 1/2 base x height
so, 1/2(8)(9) = 36

4) area of a rectangle is length x height
A = 7 x 13 = 91

5)that line is called the radius. Area of a circle is pi*radius^2
A = 3.14 x (3)^2 = 28.26

6) each side is the same length and there are four side, so
4s = 12
s = 3m

7) circumference is 2 x pi x r
C = 2(3.14)(4)
= 25.12 inches

8)there are 2 lengths and 2 widths around the perimeter, so
length of fence = 2(length) + 2(width)
= 2(15) + 2(8)
= 46 feet

3) im gonna guess you want the area of the triangle: the formula's: (1/2)bh b is the base, and h is the height
so that would be (1/2)8*9=4*9=36

4) area of a rectangle formula is base*height, so its 7*13=91

5) the line going halfway is the radius of the circle. the formula for the area of a circle is (n~)r^2, so this would be (3.14)*3^2
(3^2 is 9) 3.14*9=28.26

6) the perimeter of a square is found by multiplying on of the sides by 4, so the side length can be found by dividing the perimeter by 4: 12/4=3

7) the formula for the circumfrence of a circe is (n~)d, d is the diameter. the diameter is found by doubling the radius: 4*2=8
so the circumfrence is (3.14)*8=25.12

8) you need to find the perimeter of the rectangle, found by adding two adjacent sides and multiplying the sum by 2: 15+8=23 23*2=46
so your answer is 46

3.14 (Pi) is the relationship of the radius of a circle to the diameter or area. Pathagorean theory (A² + B² = C²) is the triangle and the area of it is 1/2 of the sides x each other.
