law of entropy.
at all times the system will become more chaotic.
look at the history of the universe.
living organisms cause chaos.
more advanced organisms cause more advanced chaos.

we started out from a single point in space/time, and successively got more complex/chaotic.
with increased probability for order comes increased probabilty for chaos.

this is basic physics theory.

this age is more chaotic than the last.
just as the next will be more chaotic than this.

what if humans discover how to traverse the stars??
will we leave the other planets more or less orderly when we leave??
mines and litter and pollution.
these are our legacy on earth.
will it be different elsewhere??

I never thought about it that way, but I would say 'ABSOLUTELY'.

Things are changing so quickly that indeed chaos seems to rule. It is difficult to keep balance and be level-headed.

Naming ages is for hindsight. No one can know how the future will see us. We could be the pinnacle of civilization before darkness settled in, or we could be the last echoes of barbarism before true civilization was established.
