Absolutely positively NO!

"They that can give up liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."--Benjamin Franklin

I don't have any guns. But my father is a hunter, and he has lots of rifles and shotguns- no handguns though. So I can imagine what I would do. If they told me to hand over my guns, I would not go to prison just to own a shotgun. And I wouldn't take on the government's national guard or ATF because they would certainly win. I would hand over my guns and feel very concerned about the future of the country and consider whether or not I should immigrate.

But "We the People" are the government in this country. Government does't give us our rights and read the second Amendment... the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed (violated).

Nope - I don't necessarily want a gun, but I definitely want the right to HAVE a gun. I'm a Democrat, and I believe in ALL of the bill of rights!

I don't have any guns, haven't felt the need. That would be a clear violation of the 2nd amendment. I don't think that gun owners would be very compliant.

You are kidding, aren't you. With the Second Amendment saying I have the right to bear arms, do you really think I'd give it up to ANYONE in "government" just because they told me to or threatened my life over it. You've got to be joking. God Bless you.

No. The government wants us defenseless against foreign troops already on U.S. soil who will round up innocent U.S. citizens during martial law, and then implement these secret and evil plans!...

I don't own any, but I don't think that turning them in would solve anything. The guns they can find are the ones that won't be used in crimes. No criminal would turn in their guns.
