Yes, it is possible. On surface it would appear that there is no time lag but the person would be a little late and should be able to follow from the insntance the action is being initiated. The tiniest flicker of my right deltoid should not go unnoticed by this person and that should lead him into believing (rightfully) that I will move my right hand. He or She should also have some understanding of my psyche and how deceptive I could be so that that person can second guess any attempts on my part to lead him into erring (like starting a movement on the right but actually continuing on the left side).
Needless to say, the person mirroring someone's actions has to be quicker and with sharper reflexes.
