Do you believe that once upon a time there was an Atlantida?

I have read interesting articles about existing legendary mainland Atlantida. Of course, for the first time it seems a fairy tale, but even in this case we can not deny this hypotez.

Are you refering to Atlantis? If so recently some archaeologists have discovered that the story regarding Atlantis might have been a corrupted report on the real-life destruction of much of the Minoan Empire located on Crete. While the island itself survived several cities were destroyed by flooding and volcanoes. Since there was a 400 year period and the facts surrounding the incedent were passed on orally they were messed up.

There is so little that we actually do know that it would not surprise me if a scientist were to say that Pluto has been discovered in orbit around the Sun.
Five hundred years ago we thought the world was flat. 100 years ago we allowed women the vote. 50 years ago we discovered nuclear reaction, I shiver at what we will accept as fact on the morrow.
